Pole Lessons

We offer multiple options for those wanting to learn how to pole dance to ensure there is flexibility to suit your lifestyle.
These include:

When you have a private class it is just you, or you and your friends in the lesson. This ensures maximum time on the pole. This is perfect for individuals or groups who would feel shy in a larger group situation. Private classes have a flexible booking system, so you can work around your current schedule.

These classes are designed in a way to suit you or your individual group. In your first session you will be taken through:

  • - A warm up
  • - A selection of basic spins and poses
  • - Exercises on the pole to help build strength
  • - The start of some tricks.
  • - The start of a pole routine
  • - Finishing with a cool down.

You can choose to continue all of these elements, or if you prefer, you can work more in strength/toning/flexibility work, do more aerobic routines, or concentrate on the more dance orientated side of pole dancing.

Classes are organised using an appointment system, and are 1 hour long. Bookings can be taken for 1 - 12 people, and this ensures that everyone has their own pole for the full hour. Larger groups can also be accommodated, by sharing a pole between two.

Classes can be booked any time between:
10am to 10pm Monday to Thursday
10am to 8pm Friday-Sunday

Prices:
Private, one-to-one lessons: £25
Two people: £15 per person
Three + people: £10 per person

Group drop in classes

A great way to learn how to pole dance in a relaxed group atmosphere, without having to book in, in advance.

Group classes enable everyone to have a go at pole dancing, without having to commit to an appointment.

Group classes are a great way to get fit, have fun, tone up and meet new people. The levels are only meant as a guide, and within each level there is normally a range of abilities.

Level 1: These lessons are for people starting pole dancing. All the basics will be covered, including the basic spins, poses, floor work, climbing and strength work to help develop the strength and confidence to progress into harder moves. They will also end with a short routine. These classes contain no upside down moves.

Level 2:
These classes develop and link the spins, poses and climbs. In addition it will include some upside moves. The strength work will contain more core strength work. The final routine will be slightly harder.

Level 3: These classes are suitable for people who are confident going upside down, they also include multiple spin sequences, and the routine will have inverts in it.

Level 4Not for the feint hearted!

Mixed ability: classes are structured with a warm up and cool down, but as they are open to everyone of all abilities, everyone is encouraged to work on there own moves in their own time. Because of this they are not the best if you have never been on a pole before.

Prices:

£6 per person, per class. However, a 4-class pre-pay card is £20, so it works out as £5 per class.

Timetable as from 1st December 2011

Group Courses:

These start every 6 weeks for six weeks (see diary above for next start dates). The benefit of these sessions is that you begin pole dancing in a group with other people who are also just starting out, so from your first lesson, everyone is following the same structure, and the routine is built on each week, to end up with a completed routine.

The group size is limited, so you will never be more than two people per pole, and on most weeks, you'll have your own pole for the hour.

Course price: £40 (50% deposit required in advance to secure your place)

Private Courses:

An eight week private course makes a fantastic gift, as well as being a great way to have a structured introduction to pole dancing.

Each week concentrates on different moves, which are the building blocks to a full routine. The routine is worked on from the first class, and is built on each lesson, to arrive at a completed song by the end of the course.

We recommend you come for an initial private class, and you can then choose to book a regular session for 8 lessons. This ensures you get the time and day that suits you. You can book them whenever suits you, but we recommend once a week initially.

Course prices
3-5 people: £70 each
2 people: £99 each
Private one-to-one: £180

All the teachers are relaxed, friendly and approachable, and come from a mixture of dance, club and fitness backgrounds.
